Reddit Madness
Hi everyone,
Recently I applied to become a mod on the /r ufos subreddit which is the largest subreddit for UFO based content. I had to go through a rigorous interview process and then a probation period which I have just come through the other side. My reason for doing this was so that I could get unfiltered access to the information that often appears in this location first.
The reality is, that it is a thankless task where often people think you are part of the government coverup, but in reality, you are trying to make sure people are civil to one another. This can be quite tiresome but is also a snapshot of the community and their current train of thought.
I feel that the community is becoming more tribal with people becoming intolerant of others’ views which is a shame. However, I was also there when the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 footage appeared which showed 3 orbs intercept it and apparently creating a vortex which made the plane disappear. This was the community at its best in that it was finally debunked, but a lot of clever people invested a lot of time and effort to get to that point. This is an interesting journey, and I will keep you updated along the way,
